If Austin had a patron saint of live music, Graham Williams would be it. His seemingly inexhaustible pool of band knowledge, paired with good taste, makes him one of the most influential talent scouts in Texas, allowing him to successfully launch large Austin-based festivals like FFF fest, and now the inauguration of Sound on Sound.
The very first Sound on Sound Fest is just around the corner, bringing one of the best festival lineups of the year with it. The headliners, including Beach House, Run the Jewels, Phantogram, and Austin’s own Explosions in the Sky are sure to bring in the majority of the fans, but the organizers have made sure to fill the lineup with incredibly talented local artists for those who show up early. Here are five local acts that you can’t miss at Sound on Sound.
From November 4-6, Sound Sound Sound Fest is here for it’s first ever instillation! The festival just released their lineup and from the looks of it, it’s going to be stellar.
Sound on Sound Fest is rolling out some game-changing news. Today, Margin Walker Presents announced that the festival will be held at Sherwood Forest Faire in McDade, Texas just east of Austin on November 4-6, 2016. The festival team is excited to host the event in an untraditional location: a Renaissance fair with a castle.
