Curating the Weekly Staff Picks is probably my favorite thing to do with On Vinyl Music because it forces me to continue to dig deeper into the vast mechanisms of Austin’s cesspool music scene. Communion, an artist-led organization based in London focused on creating a sense of community among established and emerging artists across the globe, teamed up with Glitter Tribe, an Austin based event promotion and artist management company, to launch the inaugural Communion Austin residency at Historic Scoot Inn on Oct. 29.

Concealed within the crevices of south Austin (specifically The Continental Club), the hidden gem Bee Caves, a cosmic Americana band, resides.
