Solstice Live, Cheer up Charlie’s host Fort Never album release party

Red River’s spunkiest music venue, Cheer Up Charlies, is one of Austin’s most distinguished party spots.

The diverse and welcoming bar is well-versed in throwing some of the grooviest events in Austin. On Sept. 22 at 8 p.m., Cheer Up Charlies and Solstice Live are collaborating to host the highly anticipated Fort Never album release party, for free.

The event will be a stellar celebration of the band’s debut album, Home. The threesome possesses a sharp, electronic backbone while incorporating various sounds from international cultures to capitalize on an already popular genre. The album is expected to be well received upon the local music community, as Cheer Up Charlies serves as a nourishing vessel for release.

While Fort Never will be headlining the evening, five other Austin-based ensembles will further the party’s boogie on both the indoor and outdoor stages.

Prior to Fort Never’s debut, the stage under the stars will showcase the established hype-R&B-visionary Mobley and the indie, electronic outfit Shimmer Island.

The indoor stage will also host three uniquely different artists, sure to parallel the brilliance of Fort Never–experimental and electronic jam duo NGHT HCKLRS, spunky pop French princess Lou Rebecca and power-pop band Tres Oui.

Between the dedicated hosts, talented musicians and supportive fans, Fort Never’s album will launch into success with nothing but good vibes as its catalyst. Sept. 22 will prove to be a monumental party not only Fort Never but for the Austin’s entire arts scene.
