Austin’s music scene is flooded with underrated, under the radar artists. Everyone knows this, but no one knows just where to find them. Concealed within the crevices of south Austin (specifically The Continental Club), the hidden gem Bee Caves, a cosmic Americana band, resides. Their E.P. “Animals with Religion,” combines moody folk and psychedelic rock, filling a gap that the local Austin music scene was lacking.
Taking AUstin City Limits By STorm
Barely a year after performing their first local show, the band has landed a spot in Austin’s biggest festival: ACL. In between arranging setlists to prep for their hectic weekend, lead singer Reed Calhoun was able to sit down with On Vinyl Music for an interview.
Mark your calendar and go see Bee Caves with SAFIA and The Eastern Sea at Historic Scoot Inn on October 29th. Go support this great collective of musicians, as well as our good friends at Communion Music (Austin) who are hosting the show. Buy your tickets HERE.
